Karmatürji, a project by Berlin-based musicians Ipek Ipekcioglu, Petra Nachtmanova, and Ceyhun Kaya, reinterprets this beautiful folk song, adding Ipek’s electronic touch, while Petra sings with her beautiful voice in Turkish, and Ceyhun plays the electronic clarinette. It’s a remarkble reinterpretation of a beautiful melancholic song.
